After twelve years, I am closing Kimberly Conrad Contemporary Art Gallery, Denver Location
The building my gallery is in is primarily residential now, and the climate downtown has changed drastically since the pandemic. The traffic as well. When I opened 12 years ago, the drive was 17-19 minutes door to door. Now it can be 30 minutes to over an hour commute depending on time of day and weather.
If you've been to my beautiful space there, you know it is on the second floor, and it's become more difficult for me to haul giant paintings up and down the steep stairs.
I'm planning to reopen in Centennial in the fall of 2026.
I have been painting from my 2 home studios since the pandemic, so no changes there!
For now, my artwork will go into a beautiful brand new climate controlled storage unit 2 minutes from my home.
It will stay safe, sound, and clean, but I'd rather it be in your beautiful home.
The prices on the website now, reflect my current summer sale prices, but you are welcome to make a new offer on any CANVAS ART for the next 30 days. (Paintings on Paper Not Included)
A little piece of my heart will forever live in that special space, but I am on to many EXCITING new things in my ART WORLD. My work will of course, remain available online and from my home if you're local.
