  FRESH OFF THE EASEL

In April, the Grand Valley begins to bloom. The human residents of this western Colorado valley are happy and so are the birds. I saw this quail perched at the top of our honey locust tree. The bright gold of the blooms and the posture of this happy, well fed quail made me so happy!
