Fresh off the easel this beautiful abstract oil painting "My Blue Heaven". Multiple layers of glazes and oil paint in shades of ultramarine blue, cobalt blue and turquoise create a heavenly body of color that pops off the canvas. A bright contrast of bright white floats dreamingly against the deep shades of blue and whisps of paint in blues and whites connect the 2 panels of color. The surface of the painting has many details and nuances that draw the eye into the canvas and reveal so many areas of interest and imagination. Shades of brown accent the blue and touches of naples yellow play against the white for a soft, yet bold image. I enjoyed creating this beautiful painting and it's a bit of my blue heaven.
