Morning Shadows by Ann Phifer Reyes

Oil on canvas, 20 x 24 inches.  I am presently painting a series of subjects from my dad's farm in Leon County, Texas.  This is a view from the back yard down the hill to the pond pretty early one morning.  There were blue shadows on the pasture and a mist over the pond.  It was such a beautiful, peaceful scene! 
This painting is in the Angelina College Faculty Art Exhibition in the ACA Gallery through September.
