This original abstract painting on watercolor paper is inspired by a
family friend's pond in the Adirondack mountains. In the fall, when the
first warning of winter turned the leaves into a glorious display of
color, the pond mirrored the kaleidoscopic panorama.
"Mac's Pond" is heavily textured, revealing subtle undertones that are not visible in this image.
The painting is bordered by 2" of white watercolor paper. It is ready to be matted and framed or simply "floated" to show the deckle on all four sides.
