I have not cut for a long time but found the photo of this piece and it brought a flood of wonderful memories. My mother was a professional artist one of whose talents was Silhouette. I love to study different art techniques and this is one of the oldest. Mother illustrated an entire book with silhouettes. This was more special before the time of computer art which allows manipulation of line. She had only her German scissors and her hands.
